It’s Friday. It’s a rainy, crappy day outside. Dark and brooding and full of “It’s secretly Monday, fools!” So to counter that I think I need to put out a dose of cheer.

I have a fun life. I get to tell stories and make shit up. I have some great friends, and some amazing friends. I get to read books, books I don’t have to pay for, and then I get to tell people what I think of them and dissect them. I have a cat that is made of awesome, even as she drives me up a wall. Generally I go out of my way to make my life fun, as often as I can.

When I was a kid I imagined being an adult was, like most of us probably, full of good times with friends and doing whatever you wanted. Now sure there is a day job and all that comes with it attached (but I like my day job) but really? My adult life is a lot like I thought it would be. And that rocks.

So here’s to you Friday! Let’s party like it’s 2008, cause 1999 didn’t have the really cool toys.
