Eneit Press has two anthologies open for subs. In Bad Dreams - Volume Two: Where Death Stalks and Voices. Clicking the titles will take you to the submission guidelines.

Now, I had hopes that In Bad Dreams would be a collection of Crudité horror. Celery that kills. You know, Death Stalks. Apparently not! So fair warning, they are NOT looking for Crudité horror stories. And thus does my French Onion Dip of Doom story go back on the shelf.

Voice is a cool concept. All the stories take place in a hotel room. Yeah that’s kinda it. It’s a nice subtle connecting theme that could produce a really interesting book.

Eneit Press is a new venture, and I have nothing to do with them at all. I just think Mark Deniz has done cool work before and why not help out a new venture some, right?

I have a lamp on my bedside table. Little silver thing. It has a pull-chain. Last night, after I finished reading, I reached out for the pull-chain and gave it a yank. Just like every other yank in the history of turning off this light.

The light went off.

The chain came off in my hand.

This thing broke from inside the fixture. So now I need to go buy a new lamp. Stupid chain.
