Why people don’t send me email

The question in email: “That SHOULD be good… we’re talking at like 10:30 EST, right?”

My reply: “Yes sir. 10:30 in the P to the M, rocking the East Coast Standards like a motherfuck, old school like there’s no school.”

Bartending for fun and profit

So my bartender (you know I go to one bar every week at the same time and always have the same bartender these days) makes coffee, as well. Last week she looked at my empty coffee cup and empty beer bottle and deadpanned “All right … upper or downer?”

I’m a sucker

I spent five minutes this morning building a little blanket bed/fort around the sleeping cat, who just kept purring louder when blankets were shifted one way, lower when they moved another. I kept adjusting them until I achieved maximum purr. It was kinda like a little video game.
