Purr purr purr.

September 5th, 2007 by APK

Kinda sick. Not dreadfully so, but enough that I spent last night laying in bed reading and doing nothing else. As in: Came home and crawled into bed. Except for small forays involving food and a bit of hanging online, that is.

Anyway.

So I try to get to sleep on my back so I can breathe easier (I can’t sleep on my back, really) and I’m almost asleep and the blankets are just right…

*pounce*

*squeakmeow*

…and Mackenzie circled around on my chest for a few minutes, looking for the right way to sit down. The blanket needed to be fluffed, of course, and my hands needed to be busy petting her.

I would sneeze and she would startle and then glare at me and start all over again. I considered tossing her off but what was the point? After about fifteen minutes she curled up into a tiny ball on my chest and purred herself to sleep.

So I closed me eyes and tried to get back to sleep.

Which is when she yawned loudly, stretched and tried to stick a paw up my nose.

Morning, Intardwebs.
